The Masterplan

The Final Masterplan incorporated a few revisions in response to feedback received during the second set of neighbourhood workshops and via the regular meetings of our Residents’ and Community Liaison Groups.

The most significant of these was the removal from the Masterplan of Moore House, in Grosvenor Waterside, which had previously been proposed for Affordable Housing. During this stage of development the buildings were reduced in height by an average of 1.5m across the site, and a final plant room strategy was developed to define the location and maximum size of the rooftop plant. The only other significant change involved the block at the intersection of Ebury Bridge Road and Chelsea Bridge Road which had its corner ‘chamfered’ to reduce impact on the Wellington buildings opposite.

The Final Masterplan was presented at a series of RLG and CLG meetings and at the 5 October and 26 October meetings, the Design Code and associated Parameter Plans that will be used to secure permission for the Masterplan were reviewed. The Presentations given by the Masterplanning Team at these events can be accessed via the ‘Documents’ area of this website, as can supportive information such as the ‘Height and Massing Map’.

A full account of the development of the Final Masterplan can be found in the Statement of Community Involvement. This is filed in the ‘Reports’ section in the ‘Documents’ area of this website. A special Planning Application section of this website describes all of the documents that form the planning application and their general purpose. Downloadable PDF copies of all planning application documents are available.
